Pretttttty and totally more on the "affordable" side. My favorite look is the second; I just love how the top is tucked into the high waisted pant. The horixontal striped maxi is major too! Hope you get a little inspiration from Mr. Posen here. <3

There were countless great looks, but these are the ones I love the most.
Kristen Wigg: My fav of the bunch!
Kelly Osbourne: Different and so cool.
Now I think that these ladies look good, but there are definitely issues with the looks.
Shailene Woodley: To me this is very nun-like...which makes her appear much older.
Cameron Diaz: I think what I dislike about this is her sad hair.
Busy Phillips: I really do not like her shoes with this dress.
Anne-Sophie Bion: Can someone say elegant trash bag?

Well on this Saturday morning I woke up bright and early--6:00 am kind of early--I got ready and drove up to West Hollywood. As you may or may not know back in 2010/2011 I interned for Showroom Seven/ Seventh House PR and every so often they ask me to help out for special events. Basically I met them at the Chateau Marmont to help with the finishing touches and clean up/take backs for this awards season...AKA the Academy Awards. The gowns are stunning and I wonder who will end up wearing what and if the designers Showroom Seven represent will get some good press.
This picture above is what I wore, in the Chateau's pretty ladies room of course. Let's just say I am obsessed.

If this look did not have any accessories, boy oh boy would it be boring. Plain Jane no more, this is now a spunky outfit with mismatched accents. (BTW, can you tell I enjoy pink lately?) Lovely combination of polka dot flatforms and seafoam green hoops. Oh and that hot pink heart lock crossbody bag. <3

The color block that is. So I was shocked that I had enough confidence to walk out of the house like this on Tuesday. I had a lot of looks my way, but I felt pretty cool...not gonna lie. Color blocking is major fun and I reccommend it! Hot pink and cherry red go nicely together, but so many color choices do too. Do something crazy. Color block.

I want to have some event to wear this...like anything, right now. It seems more different than normal which is a plus for me.
Definitely tuck the shirt into the shorts, which should sit just below your belly button if not on it. Throw on the wedges and the blazer and the outfit is almost ready. Final touches include some neon dangle earrings and a glittertastic clutch in a similar color to the details in the shorts and the button down shirt. And vuala! Edgy and classic look for a night out.
