Body Con

Dress: J. Crew
Boots: Steve Madden
Tights: Nordstrom Rack
Clutch: vintage
Bracelets: J. Crew, Nordstrom, Forever 21

I am obsessed with this body hugging long-sleeve dress. To tell you the truth, only a few years ago, I hated the idea of wearing a turtle-neck...but these days I love how they look and feel. You are all covered up, but still feel sexy. The dress was actually super on sale a few months back at J. Crew and I had to have it.
I paired it with sheer tights, some edgy knee-high boots, and my vintage clutch (which originally was a shoulder bag). And of course some stacked bracelets in a mixture of silver and gold.
Love, love, love.

Celeb Style: Zanna Roberts

Celeb Style: Zanna Roberts

Anyone recognize her? Back when The City was the it show on MTV, she (Zanna Roberts) worked for Elle with Olivia Palermo in New York City. This photo was actually taken from this years Coachella, but I just found it and because its still kinda hot around here, this look is definitely doable.
I love the simplicity of this outfit and how rockin' her legs look. The high waisted destroyed denim shorts seriously make legs look longer and leaner. Pair them with a comfy pair of combat or biker boots, a simple white tee, and a classic trench. Mess that hair up a bit for some sass and put on a fun colored lip and voila.
Enjoy this beautiful day :)

One Pair of Booties: Three Ways

One Pair of Booties: Way One

One Pair of Booties: Way Two

One Pair of Booties: Way Three

Here's to another day where fashion is on my mind. I just cannot seem to get enough, I'll say it, it's my passion...I have a passion for fashion. So cliche huh? The saying is, but I try to make my style choices away from the norm.
Way One: Check that dress out. Its surprisingly a "one size for all" and those cutouts on the waist like a belt...so cool. I personally have never seen something like it. I love yhe idea of pairing this orangey dress with the green and black accessories for an extra pop of color.
Way Two: Casual chic with edge. Simple dark skinnies paired with the booties is a must, a slouchy beanie and those round sunnies. So cute. My favorite part of this outfit is definitely the unique off-shoulder sweater, worn here as a shirt. It looks warm and cozy, plus it has sass.
Way Three: Sheer and flirty. Look at that print! So many bright colors. Pair this skater skirt with a basic sheer white button down, add an extra bit of color to the neck, and finish off the look with the sexy black booties.
These TOPSHOP booties are extremely versatile. Pair them with a basic look to spice it up, aadd sass, or sex appeal. The chunky heel and platform quality is perfect for walking and standing on your feet, hoping to last for about 5 hours, if not more ;) If you like the idea of these, find a pair that suits you and go for it! They are a perfect pair of Fall booties.

Midriff

Crop Top

For one reason or another I love the idea of a high waisted pant and a skin tight cropped top, perhaps showing a slight bit of midriff. This style can not be worn in all types of situations; most jobs for instance, this would be a "no no." But for a girls night or something, this would be a fun look. Pair that with a chunky heel to make the leg look even longer and leaner, a classic, spacious bag, an oversized watch so you can always be on time ;), and some edgy statement earrings for some pizazz.
Are you a fan of midriff? Is it okay for all styles and situations?
Here's to another week!

ONE YEAR

Top: Bobeau
Skirt: thrifted
Wedges: H&M
Bag: Sofia C.
Necklace: Nordstrom Rack
Bracelets: David Yurman, BP, Forever 21, J. Crew
Nails: OPI, Express Finish

It's been one year since Oh my STYLEista was born. I cannot believe it! So much has changed for me and this blog. And don't forget about the changes in trends and seasons ;)

This morning I thought to myself, Imma jump on that bandwagon and do some multi-colored nails. But, I kept them mainly neutral. Yay or nay?

This look is spunky and fun with a bright pop of color! Plus the best part about it was I got it at a bargain price. Thrifting is a must in the fashion world, you never know what gems you'll find.

Cheers to the one year!!
